Market reality

Gartner
50%

of GenAI projects are expected to fail

Failures cluster across four foundations

People
Source: Gartner — Why Half of GenAI Projects Fail
  • The market is noisy. Every vendor claims to do AI.

  • Internal teams often lack a shared view of the business goal.

  • Proposals are difficult to compare — and harder to negotiate.

  • Wrong scope creates budget waste and internal frustration.

  • A few days of proper scoping prevents months of wrong execution.

The honest checklist

Do you have an AI scoping problem?

If two or more of these feel familiar, you don't need another tool demo. You need a sharper scope.

  • You know AI matters, but not where to start.

  • You received proposals that are impossible to compare.

  • Your team keeps jumping from use case to use case.

  • You are unsure whether to hire an agency, freelancer, FDE, vendor, or consultant.

  • You worry the budget is too high for what you actually need.

  • You have strategic goals but no clear technical scope.

  • You want a prototype but do not know what to validate first.

  • Sales, marketing, product, and IT are not fully aligned on AI.

  • You are afraid of losing speed while competitors experiment faster.

That is exactly where ScopeRight starts.

What we do

Scoping, prototyping, and partner selection — done independently.

Standardized services that take you from vague AI ambition to a decision your board can defend. Pick one, or run them in sequence.

AI Scoping Workshop

From vague ambition to clear execution path.

Timeline: 1–2 weeksFrom €5,000

A structured workshop that turns broad AI ambition into a prioritised scope, a prototype direction, and a partner-fit profile your leadership team can actually act on.

  • Strategic intake & business objective mapping
  • Use-case prioritisation across sales, marketing, product, ops
  • Longlist of AI / FDE / automation opportunities
  • Three solution directions, one recommended prototype
  • Partner-fit requirements and next-step roadmap

Prototype Sprint

Validate feasibility and business value before you commit.

Timeline: 1–2 weeksFrom €12,500

We help you build or coordinate a focused prototype to test the assumption that matters most — internally, with us, or with one of the vetted partners.

  • Validate technical feasibility quickly
  • Validate business value with real workflows
  • Stay vendor-neutral until the data tells you otherwise
  • Avoid over-building a v1 that does not need to exist

Partner Matching

The right partner type for the scope you actually have.

Timeline: 1–2 weeksFrom €7,500

FDE boutiques, AI agencies, product studios, automation specialists, freelancers, large consulting partners, technology vendors — different scopes need different partners. We help you pick the right type before you compare proposals.

  • Match by business outcome, technical fit, and budget logic
  • Filter for speed, seniority, and integration capability
  • Reduce vendor lock-in and long-term maintenance risk
  • Get a transparent shortlist, not a sales pipeline

Proposal Review

An independent second opinion before you sign.

Timeline: 1 weekFrom €2,500

Already have proposals on the table? We review scope, budget logic, and hidden risks so you can compare apples to apples — and walk into the negotiation with clarity.

  • Spot overengineering and under-scoping
  • Compare vendor assumptions side by side
  • Flag hidden integration, data, and maintenance risks
  • Validate the proposal against your business goal

Team

A multi-disciplinary team that looks at your AI end-to-end.

ScopeRight brings together experts across business, product, and engineering — so we can look at your processes holistically and end-to-end, not through a single vendor's lens.

FAQ

Straight answers, no buzzwords.

If a question isn't here, ask us during the free intake. We'd rather be honest than vague.

What does ScopeRight actually do?

We help mid-market and enterprise teams turn AI ambition into a concrete scope, a prototype direction, and a vetted partner shortlist — before significant budget is committed.

Are you an AI agency?

No. We are independent scoping and partner-selection specialists. We can support prototypes and coordinate delivery, but our first responsibility is helping you avoid the wrong scope and the wrong partner.

Do you build the solution yourselves?

Sometimes, for focused prototypes. For larger builds we match you with the right partner type — FDE boutique, AI agency, product studio, automation specialist, freelancer, vendor, or large consulting partner.

How independent are your partner recommendations?

Recommendations start from your business objective, not from a preferred vendor. In some engagements we may receive a referral or success fee from partners, but the shortlist is always fit-based and transparent.

What kind of companies do you work with?

Mid-market and larger companies — leadership, GTM, product, and innovation teams that have budget and ambition but need clarity before they commit.

What is FDE?

Forward Deployed Engineering: senior engineers embedded with your team to ship production AI. Faster than traditional consulting, more accountable than freelance work. Best when scope is clear and stakes are high.

What happens after the workshop?

You walk away with a scope brief your leadership team understands and your future partner can build from — plus a partner shortlist or a recommended prototype direction. We can stay close for follow-up or step out entirely.

Can you review proposals we already received?

Yes. We compare scope, budget logic, and assumptions side by side and flag overengineering, under-scoping, and hidden risks — so you can walk into the negotiation with clarity.

How much does it cost?

Free intake at €0. Scope Workshop from €5,000. Prototype and partner-match engagements are scoped individually and can be fixed-fee, success-based, or partner-supported.

Do you work with internal teams?

Yes. We are designed to make your internal team's next decision easier — not to replace them. Many engagements start because internal teams want a sharper scope before they go to procurement.

What if we do not know our use case yet?

That is the most common starting point. The workshop is built for exactly this: translating broad AI ambition into a concrete, prioritised, validated use case.

Do we need clean data before starting?

No. Part of the scoping work is assessing what data and integrations are realistic for v1. We help you decide what is good enough to start and what can wait.

Can you help with GTM, sales, marketing, and product use cases?

Yes. These are the most common starting points: lead qualification, proposal generation, CRM enrichment, marketing workflow automation, internal knowledge assistants, and product-led AI features.

Can you introduce implementation partners?

Yes. We maintain a vetted and growing network of FDE boutiques, AI agencies, product studios, automation specialists, freelancers, and vendors — and only recommend when there is a strong fit.

What do we get after the free intake?

A clear, honest read on whether your scope is workshop-ready, prototype-ready, or partner-ready — and what we recommend as the next concrete step.
